About the Show
Celebrate...the 50th Anniversary of the Hinsdale Antiques Show! The Community House, a non-profit agency, supporting the surrounding communities of Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Westmont and Willowbrook will present its 50th Anniversary Show known for attracting the country's best dealers in period English, continental, American and oriental pieces. The show also leads in presenting the last century's furniture and accessories for today's classic-eclectic decor.
Collectors may also find
antique, estate and tomorrow's classic jewelry pieces. The Hinsdale Antiques
Show features four days of special events and education, opportunities to start
and to add to the important collections of tomorrow. An exciting addition
to the show is the second floor design display, with faux and trompe l'oeil
artist's craft, Garden Exhibitors and our very popular ATTIC resale shop,
featuring furniture, accessories and wares donated by the community.
The Community House attracts over 7,000 visitors to the Hinsdale Antiques Show
and over 100,000 people come through its doors annually as it dedicates itself
to enriching the quality of life for people of all ages. The learning
programs and experiences, counseling support and intervention, recreation,
volunteer opportunities and outreach for after-school daycare to low-income
working families in Willowbrook highlight many facets of such a vital
organization. The Community House receives no local tax support and
depends upon allocations from The United Way, charitable gifts, programs, rental
fees and volunteer efforts to underwrite services and defray operating costs.
Thank you for your continued support, and enjoy the Celebration!
